Hey everyone, I am posting a video Anna made for her clients. We are very proud of her being a part of Rolling Oaks future.
I hope you and your new fur baby are doing great! Since all of the babes left I have had some time on my hands! If you can believe that. So I put together a little video of the litter for all of you.
I wanted to say thank you to each of you. You have made a difference in my life. I’m thankful for each of you and your family. It brings tears to eyes to know you have opened your hearts and your home to one of my puppies. Yesterday the number one question I got was: “Are you sad because all of the puppies are leaving?” I answered honestly and said “no”. I’m extremely thankful that each of these babies will get the chance to be individually loved and cared for. They were ready for their new homes!
Today new emotions surface. While I am not necessarily sad the puppies left I feel a sense of ‘what next?’ Each morning that I woke up the first thing I did was feed the puppies, held each of them, checked them over, and made sure they were safe. For those of you who don’t know this was the first litter at Rolling Oaks that Russ and Barb (owners) were not “in charge”. Four years ago I purchased a puppy from Rolling Oaks. I had hoped to have a litter with her someday. Unfortunately, she did not pass her eye clearance. There was a pin-sized cataract in her left eye. At that point, I had already purchased Andi from Rolling Oaks. Andi quickly grew to be my closest companion. Two years later she passed all of her OFA clearances. That being said four years later I officially had my first litter! I grew up helping my parents with their business. In fact, it built me to be the person I am today. I am incredibly thankful for the opportunities it has brought my way. The biggest and most rewarding being yesterday’s experience.
The dream that began five years ago, the one I saved for, pursued, cried, and sweat for came true.
Thank you for helping make my dream come true. I pray that each of the puppies are a blessing. I know they will be there to celebrate good times with you and snuggle on the cloudy days. Each of them have big hearts.
