I did it!

I DID IT! For the first time in 19 years I brought a litter from birth to 7 weeks without the help of Anna. What an adjustment for me. Anna is now a student at Bethel University. I cried real tears as I did chores and took care of puppies without her. She has been such a help to me through the years. To adjust to this new life without her has been difficult. Russ took vacation from work to help me. Amy had to do the dishes by herself and hold puppies more than usual, and we did it. Russ and I are a great team. Cabela’s litter was so sweet and easy to love. I enjoyed the last week, taking them to all the places around town. The grandkids were here on weekends to help. The busiest week was of course when Emmy had her puppies! She gave birth to 7 healthy babies. It is always a sleepless night for me when a mom is delivering. For some reason labor and delivery takes place in the wee hours of the night. I am so thankful that Cabela’s puppies are all in excellent homes and doing well. Enjoy the photos of last week!
