Christmas 2021 was so fun at the farm. All the kids were home for a few days. There are 24 of us now so there is lots of meal planning and action. We wanted 6 kids and now we are reaping the benefits of all the hard work that goes into raising a family. If you are in the middle of life and it feels so hectic, I just want to encourage you to enjoy the good times and endure the bad, because it goes by so quickly and before you know it the house is quiet! We took down our Christmas tree the day after Christmas because it made us too sad to see it without all the kids! I know, kinda ridiculous, but we can get pretty emotional when all the fun and excitement are over so we are looking forward to all 2022 will bring!
Our new barn is almost done! The heat, water and electricity are working.
We announced in our recent Christmas card that our two daughters, Kelly & Anna are continuing the legacy of Rolling Oaks and breeding along with us. It’s always a challenge to capture a good photo for the cards. Enclosed are a few from behind the scenes.
And, here’s the final product…
For those of you who sent a deposit & are waiting for a puppy in early spring, 3 of the moms have been bred so if Mother Nature is good to us we will have puppies ready at the end of March & early April. We are currently accepting applications for puppies available between June-September of 2022. Wishing all of you a blessed, happy, healthy New Year with lots of hugs and puppy kisses.
