Why Rolling Oaks?

Purchasing a puppy should be a fun, rewarding experience. It is something you typically do every 10 to 14 years! At Rolling Oaks Goldens, we try very hard to make this a wonderful memory for you and your family.

Puppies are sold with a health guarantee; spay/neuter contract and a limited registration with the AKC. The parents, grand-parents and great grandparents have had their hip, elbow, eye and heart clearances. This means we are doing all we know to do to produce healthy puppies. When you pick your puppy up, it will have it’s dew claws removed, a micro-chip for identification, a vet check, first vaccines, and worming. You will receive a starter collar, puppy food, and  printed training instructions. We do our best to coach you through the puppy training process.

Your Rolling Oaks Golden will have been held every day, gone to pre-school and nursing homes, visiting other dogs and places while still in the comfort of it’s litter mates. This socialization makes for a more confident dog, and a more confident dog is easier to train. Puppies are let outside every few hours to get the concept of “outside” is where to eliminate. They are introduced to a crate for potty training which also eases the transition from our home to yours. Your puppy will be acclimated to the everyday sounds of a household, piano, vacuum cleaner and the noises of a home with children.

When the puppies are born, we will email you a photo and video each week so you can watch your puppy grow. At five weeks you can come out and play with the litter, meet the parents and visit with us about the temperament and personality you want in a puppy.

Rolling Oaks Goldens are bred to have the true “Golden” temperament. They are so well socialized and easy to train, you can use your puppy for a companion, therapy dog or hunting buddy. The goal of your puppy is to please you. Once you teach it how to do that, you will have years of enjoyment. Part of our job is to teach you how to do that.
