We spent a lot of time over the Christmas season down on the lake. This video shows my dream come true….Russ, the kids and Grandkids with all the dogs. It doesn’t get any better!

This is a short video of my grandson Samuel training his dog Hazel, a 1 1/2 year old.

Emmy gave birth to 8 puppies June 15! 5 males and 3 females. We had a little trouble with one puppy being stuck, so Emmy had a C-section on Saturday morning to remove the puppy. It was dead. The good news is, mom and 8 puppies are doing well! In thirty years we have not experienced a C-section, and now two in a row! I was able to assist our vet with the surgery and was very happy that Emmy came through it just fine and is eating, drinking and taking excellent care of her puppies. All the males are spoken for in this litter, but we do have a female available. They will be ready for their new homes August 3. Needless to say, it has been very busy at Rolling Oaks and will continue to be so….Zoey is due this week with her litter! Here is a video of our Granddaughter Avery with one of Emmy’s puppies.

This video is of my son-in-law Nate taking their dog Zoey for a walk with my grandchildren Avery and Isaac. It is a good example of how well a trained dog is with small children. The training collar and leash we use is a wonderful way to teach a dog to heel next to anyone of any age.

After Jewel’s litter left on Saturday, we laid a blanket out on the yard on Sunday and I was hoping to catch a 10 minute nap…not to be with 7 little puppies….this little girl was obsessed with my curly hair!
