Ezra's Puppies

Cabela's puppies

Daniel is home from college! There is always a lot of action when he is home, and it is so fun when his friends are over, they always help with the puppy holding! Last night they had a great time playing in the snow, then snuggling with both Cabela and Ezra’s puppies.

Ezra had three boys on Thursday! I was very surprised when the first little guy was born, to see he has a birth mark! I have never had a puppy with such a significant marking! We have several nick names for him..Blaze, Bolt, Flash…to name a few! These three boys are available and will be ready for their new homes January 27. If you are interested, please fill out a puppy application and I will call you for a phone interview.

Maddie’s Puppy: Duncan

Hi Barb,
I wanted to update you on Duncan’s progress. He’s been doing wonderfully well in his new surroundings. He is sleeping through the night (from night 1!), and goes potty outside consistently. I think we’ve only had 2 accidents in the house, and that was likely our fault for not seeing the signs. We’ve been to Ben’s parents’ lake several times, and Duncan loves to dig in the sand, wade in the water and run up and down the beach. He is an angel when he comes to work with me each day, and sleeps soundly in his kennel. We get out every couple hours and romp around at the park by my office, and then it’s back to sawing zzzs! He has met several of the family dogs, and does a nice job of knowing his place in “the pack.” It has been a wonderful experience, and we’re so thankful for all of your hard work in socializing him and training him right off the bat. He’s got “come” and “sit” down perfectly. Our vet and the vet student who looked at Duncan were very impressed by his advanced progress. Thank you! Here are some photos of Duncan for you.

Thanks again Barb! We love our little puppy!
Best regards, Becky & Ben

Puppy’s First Night

Hello!

Just an update, we are doing great! We have decided to name our pup Captain! We actually call him Captain Jack, after trying a couple names out yesterday we like that one the best.

He did great coming home, our ragdoll cat Cocoa is still wondering what is going on but very curious around Captain. He did great in the crate last night, we heard him a little at 4am, but did not get up with him, we got him up at 7am and the crate was dry! We just took him to the vet for his puppy check, they loved him, he checked out great. He is 11 lbs even!

He has had no accidents in the house and he’s went by the door twice to go out and he went potty both times!

Talk to you soon!

Maddie’s Puppies go for a swim

by Barb

It is a busy week with the kids going back to school, and Maddie’s litter being 6 weeks old. Every day this week we will take the puppies somewhere to get acclimated to new environments while still in the comfort of their litter mates. This is their first swimming experience with their mother.
