Barb, We love our Kato!! He has brought joy and energy into our home and we love it. He grows daily and is 42 pounds. He loves to go to the vet to get weighed, just for fun. Here’s a couple pics: (Kato is a Cabela/Ryan pup)

Cabela’s ten puppies have all left. Anna and Daniel were a tremendous help the last few days, as Russ was really sick. The day before the puppies are picked up is a big day. They all have a bath, and each puppy is evaluated for the last time to determine it’s personality. All the paper work needs to be done, folders put together, the towels that the puppies take home continue to get the scent of the mother and litter mates. I couldn’t do it all myself. I am very thankful for the “staff” at Rolling Oaks. With Ezra’s three puppies here, it feels like I am on vacation!

This past week we have had someone come over every day to help us hold puppies. With Cabela and Ezra’s litters, there are 13 puppies! It is so fun to see the difference in their development. Cabela’s puppies are already learning to go potty outside! They spend time with humans each day, learning from their surroundings. Amy was jamming out to “funky town” and at first the puppies are startled, then they act like it is just another noise! So cute.

We have two male puppies available in Cabela’s litter. These little guys will be ready to go to their new homes January 8. Daniel is home from college! There is always a lot of action when he is home, and it is so fun when his friends are over, they always help with the puppy holding! Last night they had a great time playing in the snow, then snuggling with both Cabela and Ezra’s puppies.

Cabela’s puppies are two weeks old already! Their little eyes are starting to peek open. We do have male puppies available in this litter. They will be ready for their new homes January 8th.

We had such a Happy Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for! This is Elaina and Avery, our two granddaughters, learning how to be good puppy holders! Cabela is an excellent mother. This is her first litter. I am always amazed by the miracle of birth. Even though I have delivered a lot of puppies, each one brings new life. I imagine where these puppies will live, and hope they will bring joy and laughter into their new homes. It is a ton of work to raise a puppy, just like a child, but worth every minute as they grow and give back so much love. We have a male puppy available in Cabela’s litter, and are expecting Ezra to deliver her puppies in two weeks! There are puppies available in Ezra’s litter and they will be ready for their new homes around February 1.

Cabela had 10 puppies on November 20! 5 males, 5 females! Mom and puppies are doing great! We are very thankful for this new life on the farm!
